Job Role: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Carmarthen


Pro Staff Construction are currently working with a construction company based on the outskirts of Carmarthen that are looking for a Quantity Surveyor.


Role Responsibilities


· Initial estimates and appraisals of new projects.

· Overseeing the tendering process on projects.

· Setting up and finalising the official project budget.

· Completing incoming and outgoing project cashflows.

· Ongoing commercial management – completing monthly CVRs, monthly cashflows and undertaking budget v actual variance analysis.

· Measure and value the work done on site.

· Manage payment certs, critically assess values and manage disputes.

· Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers, technical and land teams.

· Complete reports as required.


Skills


· Experience of managing multiple live projects simultaneously.

· Proficiency of project cashflows.

· Experience of estimating is appealing.

· Must be a proactive and motivated.

· Strong computer literacy.

· Ability to work under pressure.


Qualifications


· Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
