Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper Location: Newport


Pro Staff Construction are currently looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join a company based in Newport.

Role Overview:

The Bookkeeper will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring rent invoicing and reconciliation are timely and precise, and supporting monthly financial reporting.


Key Responsibilities:

· Use Landlord Vision software to manage property finances and reporting.

· Raise tenant invoices and ensure timely rent collection.

· Reconcile rental income and tenant payments against bank statements.

· Record and process supplier bills, utility charges, and other property-related expenses.

· Maintain accurate reconciliations for both the main bank account and petty cash.

· Prepare monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports.

· Assist in the preparation of individual property P&L reports to assess portfolio performance.

· Liaise with the Managing Director and external accountant as required.

· Support annual accounts and any ad-hoc reporting or audits.

· Payroll experience is desired.

Key Skills & Experience:

· Proficiency in bookkeeping software – experience with Landlord Vision is desirable.

· Experience with Sage payroll is desirable.

· Strong Excel skills.

· Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

· Good understanding of accounting principles (P&L, balance sheet, reconciliation).

· Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

· Strong communication skills and proactive attitude.
